Final Cactus Yearbook Photo Studio
- This is your last chance for yearbook and graduation photos! The Cactus Photo Studio will be from February 4 - 22. Take your photo during the first week and get a special bonus. The Studio is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Texas Student Media building (CMC), 25th and Whitis Ave., Room 3.302. Undergraduates and Graduate Students can just walk in for their photos, but Graduating Seniors also wanting cap and gown photos must call for an appointment: 471-9190.

- Cactus is now searching for a NEW Marketing Manager! Marketing manager will be expected to create a media plan for Cactus, and recruit and maintain a marketing committee. Marketing managers will market and advertise the book within UT and in the surrounding Austin community. Interested applicants should contact Eleanor at eleanor.bartosh@gmail.com.
- Unfortunately, our beloved Design Editor (lovingly nicknamed the "Design-tator") is graduating in December. Cactus will most likely promote from within to fill the Design Editor spot, but this means we need a NEW Design Team member. Design team members work with the Editorial staff and Design Editor to create graphic elements for spreads. Design team members should have experience working InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. - ATTENTION GRADUATING SENIORS! Editorial and advising staffs have decided to include Graduation portraits in the book. This is a change from last year when portraits were not included. If you didn't take your senior photo, make sure you sign up during the February photo studio.
- Page sale deadlines have been extended! For those of you who would like your organization to be featured among the records of the year, you can still order page space. Contact Cheryl.Joseph@bba05.mccombs.utexas.edu for more information. Hurry, page sale prices double November 16!
- Ever seen those A-Frame advertisements on Speedway? Now you can look for ours! The Marketing Committee has put together an advertisement featuring Cactus. Find it located on Speedway, across from Welch!
- Check back soon for a new feature on www.cactusyearbook.com. Cactus yearbook's witty Editor-In-Chief will begin her new blogspot, dishing on the highs and los of running Cactus. The blog will include guest spots from other staff members, as well.
