Portraits of University of Texas swimming and track and field athletes. These photos are a part of larger story for UT’s official yearbook, Cactus.
These athletes have placed highly in world and/or national championship games and will likely be competing in the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, representing the U.S. and the University of Texas, and in the case for one, the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Hey yerds, If you’re interested in working for Cactus next year, you’ve come to the right place! Fill out this application and drop it off, along with your resume and portfolio, in HSM 2.114C (if the door is locked, just slip it under the door) or email all application materials to Bianca Krause at miakrause3@aol.com. Deadline for applications is June 15 at 5 p.m. and staffing decisions will be announced July 1. Let me know if you have any questions!

2011-2012 Cactus Staff Application
We won 22 Gold Circle awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association for the 2010 Cactus. Our book as a whole won a silver crown. Congrats to the 2010 staff!

Former Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and former Cactus yearbook editor Joe Greenhill passed away this weekend at 96. Greenhill was the longest-serving member of the Texas Supreme Court.
